Whether you are a current parent or grandparent or friend of a current student or you’re just checking out the Academy, we believe you’re making a great choice for the children you love! We believe in Newberry Academy and the mission here. We are a small school with a real hometown, family atmosphere where everyone knows each other and we’re all invested in the success of our children and school. We believe in a safe and disciplined environment, we believe in a high standard of academic excellence and achievement, we believe in competitive athletic teams and we believe in each other.
Our Academy Board joins the staff, teachers and Headmaster Bob Dawkins in committing ourselves to Excellence in all that we do and when you visit the Academy, you’ll get a good glimpse into all that we’re doing. We can show you our scores on the national Stanford Achievement Test—where we can see immediately exactly our how children are doing in relation to other kids their age all across the nation, we can take you to a ballgame where parents work side by side in the concession stand then sit and cheer on the teams together, or we can take you to a music program or a parents’/grandparents’ program at the school where you’ll live the spirit that we call the Academy, but mostly, we just want to get to know you. Come check us out, you’ll like what you see. After all, we only get one shot with our kids’ education, and there’s not much more important than that.
God Bless
Chad Connelly, Chairman, Newberry Academy Board of Directors

Newberry Academy believes that normal efforts must be surpassed in order to physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually educate a student. Textbooks are not the only source of knowledge; a complete education draws from far more than pencil and paper. School experiences are building blocks of a child's future. Therefore, Newberry Academy's priorities are obvious. Newberry Academy intends to provide a safe learning environment with quality teachers and a well-maintained campus, so that each student has every opportunity to reach his or her potential.
