NEWBERRY ACADEMY – AN INVESTMENT
No one really wants to pay for his or her children’s pre-college educations, but in today’s world – it has become an investment in their futures. Private or independent schools blanket the nation and are producing some of America’s finest college prospects. Newberry Academy is one of those successful schools and has an outstanding track record to prove it. Since the addition of grades nine through twelve in the late 1980’s, over 90% of the seniors have furthered their educations after graduation. Close to 80% of those furthering their educations have attended four-year colleges or universities. Most importantly, over 75% of those entering the four-year colleges and universities have graduated.
Just how much of an investment is required? Newberry Academy is one of the least expensive schools among the more than 100 member schools in the South Carolina Independent School Association. Expenses are tightly controlled, and over 85% of the funding makes it to the classroom. For approximately $340.00 per month (eleven months) a student can attend grades one through twelve, and for around $200.00 per month, a student can attend grades K3 through kindergarten. There are discounts available for families with more than one child.
The staff is highly qualified and extremely experienced. Newberry Academy is accredited by the South Carolina Independent School Association and has been in operation since 1966. The learning environment is conducive to strong academics. The athletic offerings are heavily used and Newberry Academy teams have brought home state championships in boys basketball (4 times) boys swimming (4 times) girls swimming (2 times) golf (2 times) and boys soccer (once). The social environment is wholesome and the students stay out of trouble.
Newberry Academy just might be an investment you might want to investigate for your children.
