It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Head of School at Newberry Academy—a place that has been woven into the very fabric of my life and my family’s story. My journey with the Academy began as a student, continued as a parent, teacher, coach, and Athletic Director, and has now come full circle in my role as Head of School. Few institutions can claim such a profound impact on one’s life, and for me, Newberry Academy is not just a school—it is home.
This Academy has truly been my family. My wife and our twins are proud graduates, and together we share in the legacy of an institution that has shaped generations of students with its commitment to academic excellence, character development, and community spirit. Each role I have held here has deepened my appreciation for the dedication of our faculty, the resilience of our students, and the unwavering support of our families.
As we look to the future, my vision is to continue building upon the strong foundation laid by those who came before us. We will honor our traditions while embracing innovation, ensuring that Newberry Academy remains a place where students are challenged, nurtured, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
