Creating and Connecting: Our Eagle Experience
Newberry Academy offers a wide range of school-wide activities designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, and school spirit. Students can participate in Lego Club, where innovation and problem-solving come to life through hands-on building challenges, and Chess Club, which develops strategic thinking, focus, and sportsmanship.
Students also have opportunities to represent Newberry Academy in SCISA events, including the Literary Meet, Spelling Bee, art competitions, dance competitions, and Battle of the Books, allowing them to showcase their academic and artistic talents at a competitive level.
School traditions and social events play an important role in building community and creating lasting memories. Throughout the year, students enjoy special events such as prom, homecoming, spring fling, and sweetheart dances, which foster school pride, friendships, and a strong sense of belonging.
