Club America

Club America at Newberry Academy exists to empower the patriotic leaders of tomorrow. The club supports and develops student leaders by promoting civic engagement, leadership skills, and thoughtful, respectful dialogue about American history, constitutional principles, and the foundations of a free society.

Students involved in Club America have opportunities to build strong peer networks, spearhead meaningful initiatives, assist with voter registration for eligible students, and lead conversations about individual liberty, constitutional rights, and civic responsibility. Through collaboration and active participation, members learn how to engage thoughtfully with differing perspectives while standing confidently for their beliefs.

All students who are interested in learning more about American government, freedom, and civic life—and who want to make a positive impact within their school and community—are welcome to participate. Together, Club America helps prepare informed, independent thinkers to become the next generation of leaders, innovators, and trailblazers—making free thinking the new tradition.
