Rock Rental Fundraiser
Eagle Rock is a Newberry Academy Parents Council fundraiser that supports and strengthens our school community. Parents Council works year-round to enrich the environment for our students and staff, and your rental directly contributes to school programs, events, and improvements.
Painting Eagle Rock is a fun, meaningful way to highlight a birthday, say thank you, celebrate an achievement, or send a special message to your favorite Eagle—student or teacher!
How It Works
- A rental week runs from Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to the following Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
- Your design should be completed by Monday of your rental week.
- Rock rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis—reserve your week early!
- Payment is required to confirm your reservation.
- The renter provides all paint and supplies. Parents Council cannot paint the rock for you.
Important Guidelines
- To maintain a positive and respectful space for our entire school community:
- Parents Council reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.
- Profanity and political themes are not allowed.
- Damaging or defacing another family’s artwork before your rental week begins is considered vandalism.
- Parents Council may block specific dates for school use.
- While we do our best to preserve your design, Parents Council cannot guarantee that someone won’t paint over the rock during your week; however, you may repaint it anytime during your rental period.

Tips for Painting
- The best base coat is spray paint.
- For lettering and designs, use acrylic or latex paint with brushes.
- Remember to plan for weather conditions—earlier in the day is often best.
