Candace Walters

Candace Walters is a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Newberry Academy, where she has been inspiring young learners for the past eight years. With nine years of teaching experience overall, Candace is passionate about creating a warm, engaging classroom environment where children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn each day. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Erskine College and holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Midlands Technical College. Her training and experience equip her to nurture both the academic and social growth of her students during these foundational years. Outside the classroom, Candace can almost always be found with a book in hand and a cup of coffee nearby. She also loves spending time with her family and especially enjoys spoiling her nieces whenever she gets the chance.
