Wayne Bass

I am Wayne Bass in the Science Dept. at Newberry Academy. I have been teaching High School Science Classes at Newberry Academy for the past 10 years, mainly high school Biology and Chemistry (CP and Honors sections), but also Anatomy & Physiology and Environmental Science.  In addition, I am the coordinator and sponsor of our annual Science Fair, and chief organizer and promoter of our School Garden. My Bachelor's degree is from the University of South Carolina (Interdisciplinary Studies), and I am currently working on a Master of Science in Biological Science through Clemson University's online Graduate Program. I am also known to whip out my guitar in the classroom to sing "Happy Birthday" to students on a regular basis.  It is my great pleasure to be working with all the students, teachers, and staff at Newberry Academy!
