Laura Mangum

Laura Mangum is a proud alumna of the Class of 1999 at Newberry Academy. After graduation, she earned a B.A. in Accounting from Columbia College and has more than 20 years of accounting experience in both the public and private sectors.

Her professional background, combined with her passion for Newberry Academy and her children’s education, led her to join the staff as Fundraising Coordinator, LEGO Club Sponsor, and STEM Sponsor for grades 1–8. Laura has experienced firsthand what makes the Newberry Academy community so special and is committed to helping future generations enjoy the same warm, family-centered environment.

Laura is married to Grier Mangum, and together they have three children, all of whom are current students at Newberry Academy.
